Loved across the globe, Sir David Attenborough is a UK national treasure, who, by showcasing the natural world, has hoped to inspire millions to preserve it.

In a career spanning six decades, he has been at the forefront in the exploration and preservation of nature, and at age 94 this has continued to be his mission.

Having visited every continent on the globe, “he has brought the wonders of the living world to audiences worldwide through ground-breaking natural history series” and has seen first-hand, the damage and environmental change caused by human actions. His latest masterpiece, A Life on Our Planet, features him recounting his life, and the evolutionary history of life on Earth; to grieve the loss of wild places and offer a vision for the future.

“In every moment of every day, there’s a choice to be made. If we all make our choices with nature in mind, then together we’ll find a way to live in balance with the natural word. After all, we are nature, and we need it to survive.”

The 1hr 23m documentary is a reflective piece that includes a powerful first-hand account of humanity’s impact on the natural world; providing a message of hope, and a desperate appeal for coming generations to secure the world’s future by sharing a way forward.
