Top 5 Stand Out Euro 2020 Kits

After what seems like a lifetime, International football is back and in full flow, finally. As England progresses through the competition we thought we’d highlight our stand-out kits from this year's Euros. We’ve tried to remain as unbiased as possible, however, I’m not sure we succeeded (Spoiler alert: England's kit has been included). England - Home Kit

Nike has managed to pull off the round collar perfectly as they took inspiration from the Euro 88 kit with the navy and pinstripe red. The central swoosh with badge combination really compliments the shirt as they merge a retro look with a modern flare. Overall it’s got to be one of the best England home kits we’ve seen for a while.

Germany - Away Kit

Germany hasn't gone a miss with this kit, even though the subtle grey embroidery of the badge and logo should make it easy. They’re entering the tournament looking like a token villain in a 90s sports movie as they look to regain international dominance after suffering in the group stage of the 2018 world cup. Competition aside this is a phenomenal kit with the accentuated gold-and-red cuff trim paying tribute to the Germany flag.

Portugal - Away Kit

This could have gone very badly but nike have managed to pull it off in great style. Who would have thought a pale teal background painted with bold red, black and green stripes across the front could look so good. They have taken inspiration from both 2016 and 2018 kits and made something completely fresh from anything we’ve seen before. Credit to Portugal for this unique masterpiece.

Netherlands - Away Kit

The Dutch just don’t miss when it comes to away kits and this is no different. This black and orange button up shirt makes for a casual looking sports top. Featuring the classic lion crest in orange on an extremely black background with striped texture for those with an eye for detail. Choosing between the home and away kit wasn’t easy but I think we picked the winner with this one.

France - Home Kit

The France home shirt has been influenced by the 1998 world cup kit, which they wore as they famously beat Brazil in the final. The statement red stripe across the “mariniere”style contrasting navy background makes for a simplistic yet stylish kit. France have entered the tournament as the heavy favourites and I hate to say it but they might have just come out on top with the kit as well.
