Garment dyeing is an art and an integral process for C.P. Company. While the technique of garment dyeing has long existed, it was Massimo Osti – the founder of C.P. Company – and his team who were the first to attempt the technique with garments made from multiple fabric and fibre types. Through this process, Massimo Osti and his collaborators were able to enhance the material characteristics of the garment and produce a chromatic depth and intensity that would have otherwise been impossible to achieve using a pre-dyed fabric.
The Chrome Lens Sleeve Jacket is an incredibly lightweight jacket made from C.P. Company’s exclusive Chrome fabric; a woven mono-filament nylon fabric derived from the nylons used in military canvas fabric, developed specifically for use in garment dyeing. Having also undergone a re-colour technology, this jacket boasts a more vivid and vibrant hue, which arguably only adds to the overall aesthetic of the garment.
This garment has been treated to give the fabric a particular appearance and special characteristics that are unique to each, individual garment and has also undergone a re-colour technology for a more vivid and vibrant hue. A zip detail to the left sleeve and shoulder command immediate attention for its unique placement, which reveals an inner mesh detailing that only you can truly appreciate.
