An absolute masterpiece, Stone Island release the Hand Painted David Light-TC Parka, arriving this season in the Gray colourway. Cut to a regular fit from Stone Islands lightweight tela fabric, created using Japanese polyester/polyamide yarns with a star-shaped cross-section. The pieces are assembled and then garment dyed under pressure at 130°C. During dyeing, the heat transforms the structure and hand of the material. The piece is manually painted using sponges and brushes with two tones of pigments blended with a polyurethane component, which lends a tactile quality. This artisanal process makes each garment unique and unrepeatable. Treated with a specific anti-drop agent, a specialized hydrophobic coating formulated to make the fabric's surface water- and dirt-repellent. A quilted padded lining provides lightweight and comfortable warmth.

Designed with an offset two-way zip closure with a secondary half-zip, a contoured padded hood with tape drawcord, adjustable cuffs with tape button-fastening straps and an adjustable cinch waist for a customisable fit. Fitted with an inside pocket and two angled hand pockets with triangular snap-fastening flaps for secure storage. Finished with a tape loop detail to the front chest pocket with an over painted white Stone Island Research badge to the centre of the chest.
