DESCRIPTION

The perfect example of Stone Island engineering and garment dyeing expertise, the Warp Rib Nylon-TC Jacket arrives in the Laurel Green colourway as part of the lastest AW26 collection. This garment is made from shiny and textured nylon, with a special structure called Warp Rib. This weave presents a micro-ribbing that, during the garment dyeing process, lends a textured and satin-like appearance to the surface. Treated with a specific anti-drop agent, causing water to bead up and roll off the garment rather than soaking into the fibers, easily handling light rain or a brief shower. Inside the body is lined with Primaloft insulation, a patented synthetic microfiber thermal insulation material originally developed for the U.S. Army in the 1980s as a high-performance alternative to natural goose down, it provides excellent thermal regulation without the bulk. Designed with an off angled two way zip front closure, which zips up to a large peaked hood and a high neckline with embroidered ventilation eyelets and a snap button closure. Fitted with an elasticated hem and banded elastic cuffs for a comfortable fit. Two reinforced snap button chest pockets provide durable functionality, whilst an internal chest pocket is adorned by the signature compass logo. Finished with the signature Stone Island badge to the left sleeve which can be stowed away on the internal badge holder. This jacket looks absolutely bullet-proof.

What is Stone Island Warp Rib Nylon-TC?

Warp Rib Nylon-TC is a technical nylon fabric woven with a fine ribbed structure. Once garment dyed, that micro-ribbing creates the jacket’s textured, slightly satin-like finish and gives the Laurel Green colour more depth than your standard flat nylon. Stone Island doing what Stone Island does best: making nylon considerably more interesting than it has any right to be.

Is the Stone Island Warp Rib Nylon-TC Jacket waterproof and warm?

It’s water resistant rather than fully waterproof, with Stone Island’s anti-drop treatment helping light rain bead off the surface instead of soaking straight in. Inside, PrimaLoft® insulation provides plenty of warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. Built for colder, unpredictable days, which covers roughly nine months of the British calendar.

How does the Stone Island Warp Rib Nylon-TC Jacket fit?

It comes in a regular fit, so we’d recommend taking your usual Stone Island size. An elasticated hem and cuffs keep the shape clean, while the high neckline and large peaked hood give you a little more coverage when the weather turns.
