Brand in Focus: Marshall Artist
on Tue, Apr 21, 20
Born in London in the early noughties, Marshall Artist has since become one of the UK’s much loved menswear brands. Famous for their technical jackets and combining urban style with everyday casual, the brand also makes use of bold colours and innovative dying techniques to create their quality and stylish garments. Their pieces are inspired by classic 80s casual style and are given a versatile, modern twist in the form of functional garments with tailored fits. Their recent collaboration with grime artist Aitch was a huge hit on the streetwear scene and showcased bold colours with military inspired garments for the ultimate urban edge. Letting their pieces do the talking, their garments are often finished with the understated Marshall Artist branding to show off the wearer’s good taste. Today, we’re taking a look at some of our favourite pieces from Marshall Artist which you can pick up right here at EQVVS.
Taking inspiration from casual 80s classics, Marshall Artist often showcases bright and bold colours in their pieces. One of our favourites that’s recently landed at EQVVS HQ is the Non Ath Crew Sweatshirt in this vibrant red. With long sleeves and an adjustable hem, this will make the perfect addition to your workout wardrobe. You can even complete the look with the matching Non Ath Sweat Shorts too, especially seeing as coord sets are all the rage this season.
If red isn’t your colour, perhaps this Long Sleeve Siren Top in refreshing mint green will be more to your taste. Perfect for wear during the ‘inbetween’ weather, the light and fresh green shade is sure to ensure you stand out this spring. For when we’re well and truly into summer, brighten up your wardrobe with the Siren T-Shirts, which are available in a whole range of bright and bold colours. Featuring the brand’s signature Siren logo, this simple and versatile tee is a must have everyday staple.
We don’t have to tell you that the utility trend is hot in the fashion world right now, and this is one area that Marshall Artist does best, with their collection packed with functional pieces. One of our favourites that will get you looking on trend this summer are the Cargo GD Shorts, crafted from technical fabric and featuring plenty of pockets to really capture the utility feel.
Another of our favourite utility pieces has to be the GD Parachute Overshirt, which is sure to be a hit this season. Available in a sleek and simple black or this light and fresh lilac, this expertly crafted shirt is created using the unique garment dyeing process to give an authentic finish. With two roomy flap closure pockets, it’s practical as well as stylish, making it an essential that you need in your wardrobe.
Hybrid Technical Vests
Of course, we can’t do a Marshall Artist shout out without a nod to one of their most iconic pieces, and that’s the Ballistic Vest. With a rich military feel, this modern and functional vest is the ultimate in streetwear style and will ensure you stand out for all the right reasons. Or, for those who really want to show off their love of the military look, the Tactical Vest is the perfect choice. This edgy style vest kicks functional up a notch with six heavy duty pouch pockets and two way zipper, finished with the iconic Marshall Artist branding down the side. Pair the utility vest with a simple white sweatshirt to compliment it perfectly.
We’re big fans of Marshall Artist here at EQVVS, and we know you are too, which is why we make sure our site is jam packed with some of their very best pieces, allowing you to stay on trend and look stylish.
