All leather used by Axel Arigato has been Leather Working Group (LWG) certified and rated either Gold or Silver standard. This means they are able to trace the origin of their leather down to the raw hide as well as audit the tanneries based on environmental compliance.
Cotton:
80% of the cotton yarns used in the Axel Arigato Spring/Summer 2022 collection are certified by the Global Organic Standard (GOTS). In 2020, Axel Arigato converted 100% of their cotton jersey from conventional cotton to organic cotton, certified by GOTS.
Recycled Polyester:
Sourced from the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, a unique collaborative community working with ocean clean ups, they use 100% post-consumer recycled polyester thread, made up of approximately 10% upcycled marine plastic and 90% post-consumer PET from land sources.
Chemicals:
As well as the use of organic cotton to stamp down on harmful chemical usage, all suppliers that work with Axel Arigato follow strict policies regarding restricted chemical substances. This standard is linked directly to the health of you, as the final consumer, as well as environmental preservation and the protection of the workers in the factories. For more information visit the Axel Arigato website and read the extended version of their Corporate Responsibility.
