The words we have all been waiting for could soon be murmured – football is back. Well, almost.

It has been proposed that the football season will commence again from June 17th, should all safety requirements be in place. Of course, this will mean behind closed door games, but nevertheless it will be streamed across the world for all football fans to watch.

Not only do football clubs have to ensure their stadiums are clean and safe ready for their stars to return, but we fantasy football fans have to get our virtual team ready to re-commence the second part of the season. Yes, Fantasy Football is back (albeit with some minor tweaks) and we have all the key information you need to ensure your team of all stars is ready to take to the pitch and win you those all-important and much-needed fantasy points.

First things first, we need to get Gameweek 30+ ready. The rules have been adapted to allow all teams unlimited transfers without the need to use your wildcard up until Wednesday 17th June at 17:00pm. Added to this, the fact that Gameweek 30+ is a double gameweek with Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Manchester City and Arsenal playing twice. What does this mean? Well, make sure you have plenty of players from these teams in your dream team so you can maximise your points from their two games. Our top tip would be to make one of those double gameweek players your captain and if you’re feeling really confident, use one of your free chips.

We know what you are thinking, surely the players value has dropped dramatically since the last ball was kicked. This is actually not the case and Fantasy Football have stated that all player valuations will remain the same until after the Gameweek 30+ deadline has passed.

Finally, Fantasy Football has informed us that Triple Captain, Bench Boost and Free Hit chips are all available in GW30+ and until the end of the season, meaning we can all be ruthless with their usage in the short number of Gameweeks left.

So all that is left for us to say, is sit back, relax and take advantage of the behind closed doors broadcast matches, but don’t forget to scout each player accordingly in order to gain that all important advantage over your friends and mini-leagues.
