EQVVS Lookbook #005 | Beer Garden Weather
There was one day the other week where the sun was out for about an hour in the morning.
We all showed up to work in sunglasses, ready to welcome a warm, gentle spring- the sun beaming through the windows, a soft breeze weaving in and out of our creative circle, some floral smell (we don’t know flowers) drifting about the office.
By the time we’d boiled the kettle for a morning coffee, it was lashing rain and did so for the rest of the day- four of us got drenched walking home and sunglasses don’t help with that do they?
Either way, that subtle hint of spring was enough to inspire the stylists to pull this little doozy out the bag for the lookbook.
Peep this one...
Smells a lot like spring
And early spring smells like fresh cut grass and rain.
The Cargo Shorts, because it's ‘Dads at Disneyland’ no more. Gone are the days of cargo shorts being for the hiking holiday dads, 'gorpcore' is trendy now. And these C.P. Company ones are crafted using some ultra-technical garment dyeing process that seems like a hell of a lot of gargle to digest, but really it just means the colours gonna last a really long time…
A Fred Perry T-Shirt. Why buy a one colour t-shirt and be limited with what bottoms you can pair it with when you can buy a tri-colour t-shirt and triple your options. That’s just savvy buying.
The Wood Wood Overshirt... It’s orange. It’s lightweight. And also some spiel about how the tones goes with the tones of the tee and the shorts.

HOFF Trainers - new(ish) guys on the block for us, bold colour seems to be the spirit of their brand.
Ribbed socks - buy them in bulk, you'll need them.
We let our model take a pew for this one, he’s been working hard…
but stood up he’s measuring in at 6ft/182cm…
