Outfit of the Week | The Eisenhower

Not just a one hit wonder, we said we were going to make a thing of it and we've pulled through. It's the second installation of our Outfit of the Week series.

Our stylists have been running riot lately putting together looks so good that on Monday we all showed up to the office in the same outfit.

Not quite Met Gala vibes, but still cool

Hey, avid Dickies wearers, we know you know this one. And if you're just a Pinterest pinner, you probably know it too.

The Eisenhower Jacket is sort of the epitome of street style at the minute, that and the Carhartt Michigan or Detroit jacket. They're seasoned classics that deserve a spot in your wardrobe. Even celebrities are donning them- just Google Brooklyn Beckham or Kanye West.

Though Yeezy caused a bit of a stir wearing one to the 2019 Met Gala (probably could have tried a bit harder?) it did put the style back on peoples radar.

This cut has been on the menu a while, starting off as a little uniform upgrade for the US army during WWII. We may not need the same functionality and utility as first intended, but the commitment to the silhouette holds true.

But this outfit was more than just the Eisenhower Jacket, we promise... Sticking with the workwear aesthetic, a pair of Carhartt WIP pants are a must. The Flint Pants, the new guy on the block for us, have fit in quite nicely with the rest of the hard-grafting pants on the Carhartt WIP table.

And the rest...

Carhartt WIP Essentials Bag - storage is crucial

Graphic T-Shirt (it's hidden, but it's there)

Shaved head - optional, but we think it's cool. We flicked through a carousel of computer generated wigs on our model and nothing else worked.

And for reference:

Our tough guy model is 6ft/182cm:

Dickies - Eisenhower Jacket : M

Stan Ray - Stranger T-Shirt : M

Carhartt WIP - Flint Pants : M/32
